A good friend of mine just bought a video camera that is so simple to use that is becoming a very compelling proposition fro the masses.  According to the sales person at Best Buy where he bought it, that company already has about 13% of the US market for video cameras.  It is so simple that it only has a few buttons, fixed focus a rather simple zoom and a 640X480 resolution.  It is perfect for people trying to capture bits of life or simply capturing interesting stuff for sites like You Tube. As for me, a big photo person, I think I will give flip video a try.  I will try to grab one on my way to the airport tonight.  It costs $99 USD for the basic model and $149 for the more sophisticated one.
